For your comment, I’ve installed Acrobat Reader, to my surprise it has been already set as default, I’ve tried to change the default to Edge usign the instructions above and tried to set Adobe again as default, it worked. I can say you need to do the setting up default reader process only once unless you switch the defaults between the apps. Make sure you correctly copy the backticks between the parentheses.
